New Center News for April 27

Many times we turn to God when we go to face a difficult situation. I’ve been known to say there are three ways to do anything; the right way, the wrong way and my way.

As believers, we can call out to God at anytime but it’s just human nature to want to fix it all by ourselves. In Psalm 27, we see where God offers help for the present and hope for our future. If we would just realize that many of our problems could be avoided or be made easier to handle if we would just seek God first and follow his direction.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Dakota Parker and Josephine Terry.

Happy anniversary wishes go out this week to Buddy Jo and Nancy Fowler on April 21, Tyler and Allie Stinson on April 21, Daryl and Laura Hodo on April 25 and James and Kelly Cross on April 26.

Birthday wishes to Connie Motes on April 21, Brody Dean on April 22, Tristan Creighton and Tom Robinson on April 23, Chris Chandler and Cody Vest on April 24, Milton Montgomery, Whitney Cheuvront and Janice Roberson on April 26 and Addilyn Merritt, Carli Montgomery and Jackson Grubbs on April 27.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Carmen Elizabeth Johnson who drowned Sat., April 16, at Smith Lake while swimming with her family and three other friends. Carmen was a student at Priceville High School in addition to being a flyer on the cheering squad.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to Jim and A.D. Halbrooks in the loss of their brother John Allen “Sam” Halbrooks.
