Class of ‘52 meets for breakfast

Mike Lutzenkirchen was scheduled to speak to the youth group at Fairview: the Grace Place March 5.

His son, Philip, was killed in a car accident last year and was a football player for Auburn.

Birthday wishes from First Baptist Church are extended to Christi Willingham on March 1, Kelly Lockamy on March 2, Fran Edmundson on March 15, Pat Nelson on March 16 and Martha Teague on March 17.

Evan and McKenzie Klocek were honored with a joint birthday at the home of their grandparents, Delane and Darlene McCormick Feb. 22. Evan’s birthday was the day of the party and McKenzie’s was Jan. 10. Streamers and a banner and pictures from their birth until their recent birthdays were used in the party room. Birthday cake and ice cream were served to Marcus and Dorice Dean and their children, Reid, Regan, McKenzie, Jeremy and Dena Thomason, Wyatt, Ayden and Arleigh, Sadie Klocek, Michael and Danielle Teague and Eli and Owen.

A lunch and brunch group met at Libby’s Restaurant at Priceville for their monthly get-together Tues., March 3. Sharing the good food and fellowship were Kathy Gray, Eva Stinson, Wilma Depreast, J. L. and Ann Sanders, Howard and Helen Gibson and Ray and Betty Sanders.

The monthly breakfast for members of the 1952 class of Falkville High School was Sat., Feb. 28, at Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville. Howard and Helen Gibson, Kenneth and Betty Harpe, Scotty and Betty Parker, Shirley Cooper, Franklin and Sue Harrison and Ray and Betty Sanders enjoyed the get-together.
