Brewer’s Lady Patriots held off a fourth quarter rally to preserve their 14th win of the season at home against the Boaz Lady Pirates Friday night.

The Lady Patriots were ahead 45-29 after three quarters but were outscored the Lady Pirates 11 to 4 in the final frame.

The win gives Brewer a 14-6 overall record with 7 regular season games to play.

Tamera Chatman’s 18 points paced the Lady Patriots in scoring. Brook Childers added 13 points while Malerie Drinkard and Sarah Clark each scored 6 points. Drinkard also pulled down 12 rebounds.

Bailee Padgett led Boaz in scoring with 12 points. Chelsea Chambers and Shayla Carroll each had 10 points.
