Dean receives CCIM designation

Terri Dean, CCIM, senior advisor, Sperry Van Ness| Avat Realty, Huntsville earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world.

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon completion of the graduate-level core course curriculum and attainment of a qualifying level of experience. The CCIM curriculum addresses the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate, including financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis.

CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation and investment analysis.

An affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®, the CCIM Institute’s recognized curriculum, powerful technology tools, and networking programs impact and influence the global commercial real estate industry.

Dean is a 1993 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 1996 graduate of Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn. She was previously the co-owner of GMAC Real Estate in Priceville and now lives in Huntsville. Her specializations include office and retail sales and leasing.
