Funeral for Kenneth Tidwell, 57, of Hartselle will be Thur., Jan. 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Pitts officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Slaten Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed., Jan. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Tidwell died on Tues., Jan. 15, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 17, 1955, in Morgan County to James Ed Tidwell and Ruby (Brown) Tidwell. Mr. Tidwell was formerly a landscaper for Charles Ford Landscaping. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherry Owens Tidwell; and 2 sisters, Anne Kidd and Patsy Hollis.

He is survived by three sonsm William Kenneth Tidwell, Ricky Denson and wife April and Sid Denson and wife Karen; two daughters, Kathy Winsett and husband John and Debra Cameron and husband Doug; three brothers, James F. Tidwell, Steve Tidwell and wife Sherry and Bobby Tidwell and wife Deborah; three sisters, Catherine Truss, Josephine Owens and Mary Henderson and husband Jack; a brother-in-law, Wayne Hollis; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
