Troy and Connie Puckett of Falkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Danielle Puckett, to Ryan Joseph Joy of Hartselle, son of James and Carolyn Joy of Hartselle.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. Troy and Sallie Puckett of Eva, Elizabeth Waldrop of Falkville and the late Steve Nelson of Hartselle. She is a 2011 graduate of Falkville High School. She has an associate’s degree from Wallace State’s A.D.N. Nursing Program.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Russell and Gloria Messinger of Hartselle and Dwight and Jean Joy of Hartselle.

He is a 2010 graduate of Hartselle High School. He is currently enrolled in the University of Alabama-Birmingham pre-med program.

The wedding will be June 1, 2013, at Creekside Plantation in Moorseville.
