Funeral for Darlene Kay Tokarz, 59, of Somerville was Saturday, Jan. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.
Ms. Tokarz died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1946, in Cook County, Ill., to Frederick Blanford and Vivian Blanford. She worked as a lab technician at Decatur General Hospital for 21 years.
She attended Purdue University and Wallace State Community College.
She is survived by her husband, Myron Holmes of Somerville; a son, Ryan Tokarz of Somerville; a daughter, Wendy Shryock of New Mexico; two sisters, Donna Noah of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dee Williams of Chicago, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Zack Moses, Jerry Moon, Bryan Moses, Wayne Selby, Sammy Selby and Gary Smith.
