Funeral for Mrs. Exer B. Humphrey, 91, of Huntsville was Friday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phil O'Kennedy officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.
Mrs. Humphrey died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, in Huntsville. She was born May 24, 1914, in Winston County to John Rithmire and Hattie Ladora Mobley Rithmire. She was a faithful member of Clayridge Baptist Church in Clay, Alabama. She lived in Pinson for many years before moving to Huntsville during her last illness. She lived a full life and was known for her hospitality. She visited the Catholic Church and supported the sisters of Mercy and the Carmelite Order.
She is survived by a son, Edward Humphrey; two daughters, Sandra Underwood and Donna J. Lowe; a sister, Maude Nixon; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
