Enquirer wins top APA awards

The Hartselle Enquirer was honored this week by the Alabama Press Association as part of its annual advertising contest.
The Enquirer won the Sweepstakes award for weekly newspapers, the contest's top honors. The Sweepstake's Award is given to the newspapers which earn the highest number of points in the entire contest.
"We were thrilled with the results," Publisher Leada DeVaney said. "Congratulations go to all our advertising staff and our Production Manager Jill Medenblik. It's nice to see our staff being honored for all their hard work."
In addition to the Sweepstakes award, the Enquirer received:
The Enquirer will accept the award at the APA's advertising conference next week. The Enquirer was among the 43 newspapers from throughout the state that participated in the contest.
More than 920 entries were submitted as part of the contest.
