Veterans asked to share experiences

By Staff
Veterans from North Alabama are asked to share their experiences with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’s President’s Task Force on Returning Global War on Terror Heroes.
The President’s Task Force on Returning Global War on Terror Heroes was formed this month to determine new methods to improve the way combat veterans seek services and benefits from the VA and other federal agencies. The Task Force is asking for comment from active duty service members, veterans, family members and others on the accessibility, timeliness and delivery of services.
To share your experiences or leave your suggestions on how to improve the VA and other federal agencies, please contact the Task Force through one of the following options: Task Force on Returning Global War on Terror Heroes, c/o Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy and Planning, Department of Veterans Affairs, 810 Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20420.
You can also email your comments TFHeroes@va.gov or fax 202-273-9599.
The President’s Task Force on Returning Global War on Terror Heroes consists of secretaries from the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Defense, Labor, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development and Education. The Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Administrator of the Small Business Administration also serve on the Task Force.
