Joe Wheeler meeting set for April 14

By Staff
The Joe Wheeler EMC annual meeting is set for April 14 at the Joe Wheeler EMC Office on Highway 24 in Trinity. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at noon. All of the cooperative's members are invited to attend. As usual, members will receive ballots in the mail and may cast their votes by mail or in person at the annual meeting. The meeting will feature entertainment, exhibits and door prizes.
After voting, General Manager George Kitchens will give a financial update as well as an update on the performance of Joe Wheeler EMC for the first six months of the current year.
This year the members will elect trustees to represent Districts 1, 2 and 3. Those wishing to become a candidate by petition must have their petitions and candidate profile forms turned into the Joe Wheeler EMC office by March 5. Should a run-off be required, another meeting will be held on May 19.
