BBB warns about online ATV seller

By Staff
The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama is warning about complaints from a Dallas-based online seller of ATVs, go-karts, parts and accessories. The BBB has received a number of complaints about non-delivery of all-terrain vehicles and other Christmas items delivery of damaged goods; and difficulty contacting the company about the problems.
Complaints center on Best Price ATV of 13401 Denton Drive in Dallas, Texas. The company has also done business as Freedom Scotters and BMX Imports. During the BBB’s 3-year reporting period, the company has been the subject of 30 complaints.
Complaints have been coming in from North Alabama residents. As of Dec. 22, there were 77 complaints pending and 1,056 inquiries on the company. The BBB has asked the company to respond but it has failed to do so.
BBB said those who paid with their credit card can dispute the charges through their credit card company. Those who used debit cards, however, will have to receive the money back from the seller.
BBB advises people to check with them before purchasing any items.
