A Falkville fourth grader received a wonderful Christmas present thanks to an observant stranger.
Bryce Edmondson said he left his Five Star notebook on the back of his mother’s car Dec. 18. Later that night, the family went shopping. When they returned home, Edmondson looked for his notebook, which had all his workbooks and planner in it.
Edmondson said he went to school the next day and told the teacher what happened. The teacher said he could purchase new ones after Christmas. But later that day, another teacher walked into his class with Edmondson’s notebooks and workbook.
Teacher Christy Hill said a lady had found it in her front yard in Hartselle and brought it to the school.
