Funeral for Henry W. Lott, 83, of Hartselle and Tutt Fann VA Nursing Home in Huntsville was Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Sparks and Mike Price officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Lott died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1922, in Winston County to Thomas Lott and Viola Alice Liverett Lott. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corp. as a Gunnery Sergeant after 23 years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maryan L. Lott.
He was survived by a son, Bill Lott of Hartselle; three daughters, Janet L. Hollums of Snellville, Ga., Clara A. Engle of Hazel Green and Mildred A. Eldridge of Decatur; a brother, Earl Lott of Opp; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
