Funeral for Inez Childers Jarrett, 79, of Florette will be Thur., Mar. 8, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph McCollum officiating.

Visitation will be Wed., Mar. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Jarrett died Mon., Mar. 5, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Morgan County to Virgil Childers and Pauline Wilbanks Childers. She was retired from Prestolite after 35 years. She was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church since 1945, having served as a teacher, secretary, Sunday school director, treasurer and clerk. She also served as treasurer of the Blue Springs Cemetery Committee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rayburn Jarrett.

She is survived by a son, Tom Jarrett of Boiser City, La.; a daughter, Becky Beard and husband Mac of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Amanda Turner of Decatur and Elizabeth Jarrett of Hendersonville, Tenn; six great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Jacey and Alexis Turner of Hartselle and Christian, Brandon and Aubrey Jarrett of Hendersonville, Tenn; three sisters, Virgie Fowler and husband John of Rock Creek, Imogene Estes and husband Jessie of Center Grove and Joyce Latham of Rock Creek; a brother, James Childers and wife Patty of Somerville.

Pallbearers will be Darlene Russell, Ray Latham, Joey Latham, Danny Estes, David Estes, Jeff Andrews and Tommy Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blue Springs Cemetery Fund.
