Funeral for Anita J. Pannell, 57, of Falkville was Monday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Cove Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Pannell died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1949, in Morgan County to Norman Childers and Margaret Childers. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy L. Johnson and a sister, Norma Jean Oden.
She is survived by a son, Ryan Pannell of Vinemont; a daughter, Dana Lawrence of Eva; her mother, Margaret Childers of Oden Ridge; four brothers, Jackie Childers, Johnnie Childers and Rickey Childers, all of Oden Ridge and Norman Junior Childers III of Gadsden; a sister, Louinia Reese of Cullman; and three grandchildren, Amber, Jamie and Sadie.
Pallbearers were Shannon Childers, Rusty Childers, Joseph Childers, Connie Puckett, Patrick Flessinger, Warren Mauck and Steven Oden.
