Funeral for Burton Fielder, 80, of Lacey's Spring was Friday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Fielder died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Morgan County to William Henry Fielder and Lula Mae Elders Fielder. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Fay Fielder of Lacey's Spring; four sons, Burton Larry Fielder, Jerry Wayne Fielder and Danny Ray Fielder, all of Lacey's Spring and Garry Fielder of Trinity; two daughters, Linda Fay Lemons of Cullman and Debra Ann Reese of Lacey's Spring; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Phillip Hardy, Joey Reese, Nathan Fielder, Dennis Fielder, Jamie Fielder and William Lamons.
