Funeral for Eloise Knight Richards, 92, of Hartselle was Sunday, June 12, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hartselle with the Revs. Brooks Barkley and Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Richards died Friday, June 10, 2005, at her residence. She was born Jan. 28, 1913, to William Edwin Knight and Annie Virginia Patterson Knight. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Hartselle where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul N. Richards, one brother, Gene Knight and one sister, Virginia Hough.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Richards and wife Brenda of Decatur, Roy Richards and wife Judy of Decatur and Ray Richards and wife Bonnie of Birmingham; two daughters, Fran Edmondson and husband Joe of Falkville and Ruby Walker and husband James of Centre; two brothers, John E. Knight of Falkville and William E. Knight of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home or to Hospice of The Valley.
