Funeral for Inez Waddell Chaney, 75, of Hartselle was Wednesday, June 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Wray officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Chaney died Sunday, June 5, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Morgan County to Albert Lee Waddell and Lela Roy Waddell. She was a private duty nurse. Mrs. Chaney was preceded in death by five brothers, Leon Waddell, Edward Waddell, Roy Waddell, Joel Wayne Waddell and Bobby Joe Waddell; and one sister, May Cook.
She is survived by three sons, Charles L. Chaney of Decatur; Bobby F. Chaney and wife Delilah of Cotaco and Larry W. Chaney of Hartselle; one daughter, Sheila Watwood and her husband Billy of Hartselle; one daughter-in-law, Paula Chaney of Decatur; one brother, Glenn Waddell of Hartselle; two sisters, Lorene Reynolds and Lida Woodall, both of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Clint Chaney, Tim Hogan, John Hall, Allan Britnell, Joe Crow and Freddie Puckett.
