Funeral for Marguerite Suite Drinkard, 83, of Oden Ridge was Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Agee officiating.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Drinkard died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at her residence. She was born Nov. 23, 1921, in Morgan County to William Moses Suite and Maudie Mae Shedd Suite. She retired from the federal government in California, and then returned to the Oden Ridge Community where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was of the Protestant Faith. Mrs. Drinkard was preceded in death by her husband David S. Drinkard.
She is survived by two sons, Gaylord David Drinkard and wife Polly of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Richard Thomas Drinkard and wife Cinda of Huntsville; one daughter, Phyllis Drinkard Daniels and husband Thaddis of Falkville; one brother, Edward Paul Suite and wife Bertha of Falkville; three sisters, Elsie Aday of Eva, Mary Marita McElwey of Vinemont and Robbie Jean McCorkle of Falkville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
