Funeral for Beverly Ann Hames, 62, of Trinity, was Sunday, May 30, at 4 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Revs. George Harmon, C. G. "Bill" Reding and Greg Standridge officiating.
Burial was in Caddo Cemetery.
Mrs. Hames died Friday, May 28, 2004, at her residence. She was born May 15, 1942, in Courtland to the Rev. C. G. Reding and Berteen Evans Reding. She was a member of Caddo Congregational Christian Church. She was a loving mother and faithful wife. Mrs. Hames was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Reding Dutton; and one stepdaughter, Linda H. Parker.
She is survived by her husband, W. O. Hames of Trinity; her son, Stacy Morgan of Decatur; her daughter, Necia Nicholas of Decatur; stepson, William Hames Jr. of Hartselle; three stepdaughters, Mae Haggenmaker of Decatur and Jean Terry and Ellen Jones, both of Trinity; her parents, the Rev. C. G. "Bill" Reding and Berteen E. Reding of Courtland; her brother, Anthony "Butch" Reding of Athens; 18 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Benny Green, Albert Trisdale, William Parker, Jimmy Standridge, Jerry Moses and Gene Blankenship.
Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Parker, Dr. Lionel Naylor, William Hames Jr., Dr. Robert Allen, Jackie Reding, Billy Joe Reding, Dwight Terry, Maurice Dutton and Brady McCullough.
