Congratulations, Danville High Homecoming Court

Congratulations go out this week to the Danville High School 2020 homecoming attendants. They are Adily Alberti and Ella Anderson, seventh grade; Aleah Greenhaw and Maddie Sherrill, eighth grade; Trinity Coots and Katelynn Lane, freshmen; Lillie Kate Eddy and Alison Wiley, sophomores; Shelby Barber and Karlie McCleskey, juniors; and Kaiya Butler, Sydney Smith and Ellie Tucker, seniors

Falkville High School Activities

With so many limitations on Falkville High School’s normal homecoming week activities, the staff decided to allow classes to compete against each other with a hall decorations competition.

Congratulations go out to the sophomore class for winning the high school division and to the eighthgrade class for winning the middle school division. All of the classes did a really great job, and they all enjoyed the competition and camaraderie

Danville School cares about health and safety

Danville High School nurse Tony Annerton and Danville Middle School nurse Tracy Collins are working hard to keep their students and school staff members safe. They have been taking measures to keep everyone safe by taking temperatures every morning – not just for students but teachers, staff and anyone who comes in the building.

Nurse Tony keeps an eye on anyone who is not feeling well.

They also have hand sanitizer at the doors and have plenty in each classroom. Handwashing is encouraged, as is using hand sanitizer after washing. Of course, masks are worn as well.

The custodians are cleaning more and are spraying strong sanitizer as much as possible.
