Maegan Jones joins Chamber board

Maegan Jones is the newest member of the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Jones will finish the term vacated by former board member Janan Downs.

Jones said she is thankful for the opportunity to serve the Hartselle area. “I am looking forward to seeing the difference the Chamber makes throughout the coming months,” she said. In my real estate career, using my voice for good has reflected much joy for people throughout our community. I have not only had the privilege of serving my clients as their Realtor but have had the opportunity to truly advocate for homeowners and investors alike.”

A product of Morgan County, Jones holds a degree in acquisition and contract management from Athens State University and is working on her MBA in finance. Jones is employed with MarMac Realty.

“A successful term for me would mean working together with the existing board, and members and community, to make our town just a little better every single day,” she added. “To achieve this, I believe healthy relationships and consistency toward our Chamber vision is much of the key toward success. Making a difference in the lives around me gives me motivation to continue toward a brighter future for not only my generation but for the generations of our children and grandchildren.”

Jones enjoys traveling, reading, networking, being outdoors and volunteering. She was a 2017 ambassador for the Decatur-Morgan Chamber of Commerce and said she is looking forward to continued service and relationships in the community that has meant so much to her.

She and her husband, Justin, have four daughters.
