Fairview–The Grace Place plans revival

The members of FairviewThe Grace Place Church will host their revival March 8-11 

The evangelist will be Michael Mason. The time will be 10 a.m. Sunday morning and 6 p.m. Sunday night through Wednesday night.  

Everyone is welcome to attend the revival.  

Falkville First Baptist Church News  

The Falkville First Baptist Young At Heart group recently enjoyed a Valentine lunch in the fellowship hall, directed by Bruce Treece.  

Falkville First Baptist Church will host a Swamp John’s fundraiser sponsored by the youth group Feb. 28 from 47 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. The choices will be shrimp, chicken and fish with sides, drinks and cookies. The proceeds will go to the Church Youth Camp.  

The Carpenter’s Cabinet seeks donations  

The Carpenter’s Cabinet Food Bank and Family Resource Center in Falkville is in need of donations of the following nonperishable items: feminine products, dental hygiene products, first aid items, diapers, underwear and socks for children and adults.  

All help will be greatly appreciated.  

Mt. Zion Baptist Church Activities  

The members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church welcomed guest speaker, foreign missionary Ron Shafer, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m.  

Mt. Zion Baptist Church hosted a Valentine breakfast for the preschool through the youth at 9:45 a.m. Feb. 9. The children exchanged Valentines at 11:15 a.m. during the Children’s Church activities.   

The service was directed by Hannah Hall, Helen Ferguson and Kim Hall.  

Mt. Zion Baptist Church youth director Jamie Stuart and his youth group attended Winter Jam in Birmingham Feb. 16. The tour featured guest speakers and contemporary music.  

Corinth West Methodist Church Events  

The members of Corinth West Methodist Church will host a Swamp John’s fundraiser meal from 47 p.m. Feb. 29 in the Family Life building. The proceeds will go to the general fund.
