Hartselle Parks and Recreation will hold registration for various basketball leagues Sept. 9-27. Registration will be held at the Sparkman Civic Center Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The birthday cutoff for each league is Sept. 1, and the fee is $65 per player. Uniforms are not included, and the league is joined with the Morgan County league, so there will be some travel games. 

The co-ed basketball league is open to boys and girls ages 5-6. The girls basketball league is open to girls ages 7-12. The boys basketball league is open to boys ages 6-14. 

Registration for the boys league will be held Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the civic center.
