Funeral for Glenn Jolley, 58, of Martinez, Ga., formerly of Danville, will be Fri., Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe David Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thurs., Sept. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jolley died Tues., Sept. 22, 2015, at his residence. He was born Oct. 11, 1956, in Indiana to Thurston Proctor Jolley and Betty Sue Winstead Jolley Butler. He loved working with children and coaching the Youth League Basketball. He was a dispatcher for White Oak Transportation before his retirement. He was a member of the Danville Baptist Church, where he taught the Young Children’s Sunday School Class. He loved his family and his children were his hobby.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Laney Jolley of Martinez, Ga.; four sons, Nicholas Jolley of Decatur, Tyler Jolley, Chris Wilbanks and Codie Wilhite, all of Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Laney Jolley of Decatur and Tara Jolley of Augusta, Ga.; father and step mother, Thurston and Helen Jolley of Sparta Tenn.; mother, Betty Sue Butler of Sparta, Tenn.; two brothers, Danny Jolley (Marilyn) and Ronnie Jolley (Beverly) of Doyle, Tenn.; a sister, Patricia McBride (Clifford) of Sparta, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Bella, Mason and Kaden; and father and mother-in-law, Hal and Billie Laney.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Buckelew, Cody Waddell, Chris Grant, Zack Norwood, Ryan Guthery, Trey Guthery, Brandon Atchley, Shannon Ferguson and Drew Stinson.
