Funeral for Lionel Shedd, 69, of Hartselle was Sat., Aug. 22, at 4:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in East Battleground Cemetery.

Mr. Shedd died Mon., Aug. 17, 2015, at his residence. He was born Jan. 13, 1946, in Morgan County to Charles Claborne Shedd and Mary HastletimeTrapp Shedd. He was retired from General Motors as a repairman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Ball Shedd of Hartselle; a son, Scottie Shedd (Vickie), of Falkville; a brother, Eugene Shedd (Patricia A.) of Guntersville; a sister, Lillian Hancock of Hartselle; and eight grandchildren, Megan A. Shedd, Flora D. Shedd, Rebeckah L. Shedd, Izzy G. Shedd, Chloie D. Shedd, Manda R. Shedd, Jacob Shedd and Joseph A. Shedd.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Allen, Vick Ball, Robert Compton, Eric Hardin and Matthew Hill.
