Hartselle Intermediate School holds Awards Day

Hartselle Intermediate School held its awards day Tues., May 19, in the school’s gymnasium.

The following fifth-grade students were recognized with awards:

Perfect attendance for the year: Spencer Ambrose, Jonas McAbee and Mark Evan Smith.

Highest average in reading: Ojaswi Dhungana, Alyssa Berry, Elijah Pique, Maggie Guyse, Maggie McCleskey, Cole Waddell, Sarah Chandler, Kylee Corsbie, McKenzie Boyett and Sophie Jackson.

Highest average in math: Spencer Ambrose, Gabe Borden, Emory Carnes, Jacob Mallon, Elijah Pique, Logan Crouch, Lauren Temples, Alia Wright, Mary Claire Pace and Caleb Pittman.

Highest average in science: Lauren Temples, Logan Crouch, Hunter Bradley, Laney Seal, Abby Lopez, Garrett Blaxton, Alia Wright, Lyndsey Crouch, Rees Letson and Brantley Blaxton.

Highest average in English: Lauren Temples, Connor Hughes, Olivia Counts, Abbie Lopez, Lydia Firpo, Luke Ward, Mary Elizabeth Booth, Logan Crouch, Alia Wright and Emory Carnes.

Highest average in social studies: Hunter Bradley, Mary Claire Pace, Emma Maxson, Lauren Temples, Alyssa Berry, Connor Clabough, Alia Wright, Spencer Ambrose, Juliana Davis and Elijah Pique.

The following sixth-grade students received awards:

Perfect attendance for the year: Ruchi Patel, Jaycob Pepper, Jordan Pepper and Alondra Zavala.

Highest average in reading: Bryan Munzo, Katelyn Taylor, Trent Wright, Lillyanna Cartee, Reagan Corder, Avery Balch, Mikayla Dubnik, Bayleigh Robbins, Payton Preuitt and Isabella Segars.

Highest average in math: Olivia Patterson, Brody Peebles, Mary Beth Gentle, Brody Tapscott, Maddie Grace Gladden, Olivia Wunch, Peyton Preuitt, Natalie Dalrymple, Grace Braddock and Shelby Roberts.

Highest average in science: Mikayla Dubnik, Allie Anders, Ty Bragwell, Olivia Patterson, Jessica Powell, Ruchi Patel, Peyton Preuitt, Bayleigh Kyker, Grace Braddock and Shelby Roberts.

Highest average in English: Mekhi Kalil, Payton Preuitt, Avery Balch, Kylee Howell, Ruchi Patel, Emma Bellew, Bayleigh Kyker, Brody Peebles, Olivia Patterson and Mary Beth Gentle.
