Hartselle held on to defeat to Danville Monday night.

Hartselle head coach Faron Key said his team built a 12-point lead going into fourth quarter and was up 14 before the Hawks rallied.

Casen Wallace paced Hartselle with 14 points while Jaylan Jackson had 11 points and 5 assists. Seth Garner was the Tigers’ leading rebounder with 7.

Drew Fitzgerald led the Hawks with 13 points while Alan Cordova posted 11 points with 8 rebounds. Jonathan Morgan added 7 points and Preston Butler, Brandon McCormick and Jason Haynes added 5 points each.
