Funeral service for Patsy Ann Slater, 66, of Somerville will be Fri., Aug. 31, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ryan Childers and Bro. Tommy Smothers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., Aug. 30, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Slater died Mon., Aug. 27, 2012. She was born Oct. 28, 1945, in Winston Salem, N.C., to Liston Curtis Hicks and Alvilda Pardue Hicks. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.D. Slater, and by her parents.

She is survived by a son, Chris Slater of Somerville; two daughters, Cindy Slater Jernigan and Cathy Slater Johnson and husband Jeff, all of Somerville; three surviving grandchildren, Abby Johnson, Chloe Johnson and Brody Slater.

Pallbearers will be Larry Slater, Carlton Wilson, Joe Crow, Tim Crow, Mike Lemmond and Jeremy Johnson.
