Funeral for Joseph Alan Slaten, 31, of Jasper was Wednesday, July 30, at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Fellowship in Jasper with the Revs. Billy Dutton and Wayne Williams officiating and Collins-Burke Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Slaten died Thursday, July 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Anne Moore Slaten.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Lora Rice Slaten of Jasper; a son, Gavin Tate Slaten of Jasper; his father, Richard Willis Slaten; and two sisters, Lisa Slaten of Cullman and Loretta Slaten of Hartselle.
