Funeral for Mildred Louise McCaig Spigner, 88, will be Wed., Aug. 22, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Stone officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Wed., Aug. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Spigner died Mon., Aug. 20, 2012, at Summer-ford Nursing Home. She was born July 29, 1924, in Morgan County to Argie David McCaig and Nellie Hamilton McCaig. She was a member of the Senior Circle at Hartselle Medical Center, the Boot Scooters at Decatur General Hospital and a floral designer and co-owner of the former Hartselle Florist for more than 30 years. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 15 Auxiliary in Decatur, a volunteer of the Decatur General Hospital Auxiliary and a member of Mature Living. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Spigner; and a granddaugher, Kymberly Chambers.

She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Myers of Gurley, Donna Leonard of Decatur and Tena Segars of Hartselle; and five grandchildren, Bryant Whitlock, Jami Baker, Leslie Murphy, Brittney Carden and Breanna Segars; and five great-grandchildren.
