Funeral for Timmy Anderson Bennefield, 50, of Eva was Tuesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church with Kenneth Ward officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Bennefield died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the residence of his daughter in Leesburg. He was born Mar. 14, 1958, in Morgan County to Walter A. Bennefield and Mildred Bennefield,
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bennefield of Eva; two sons, Thomas Bennefield and Bobby Shelton, both of Eva; a daughter, Rebecca Pierce and husband Randy of Leesburg; his mother, Mildred Bennefield of Athens; four brothers, Paul Bennefield of Athens, Wayne Bennefield and Ray Bennefield, both of Decatur; and Joe Bennefield of Michigan; two sisters, Sue Roy and Patsy Sain, both of Falkville; and a grandson, Chevy Pierce.
Nephews were pallbearers.
