Funeral for Charlie Stafford, 56, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.
Mr. Stafford died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home.
He was born July 7, 1951, in Lawrence County to Charles Marion Stafford Jr. and Bessie Marie Davis Stafford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Stafford and his father, Charles Marion Stafford Jr.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy Dewayne Stafford and wife Melina and Charles Gyn Stafford and wife Celeste, all of Falkville; his mother, Bessie Stafford of Hartselle; two brothers, Ray Stafford and Bobby Stafford, both of Hartselle; a sister, Shirley Marie Reeves of Falkville; and five grandchildren, Tyler Stafford, Lauren Stafford, Weston Stafford, Maddie Stafford and Gib Stafford.
