20 under 40: Kalleigh Thomas

Kalleigh Thomas, 38

Owner, Shoefisticated

Meet Kalleigh Thomas, the proud owner of Shoefisticated, in downtown Hartselle. Kalleigh’s journey began at Holly Pond High School, and she later pursued her academic aspirations at Auburn University, earning a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

In 2010, Kalleigh brought her passion for fashion and personalized service to life by establishing Shoefisticated in the heart of Historic Downtown Hartselle. Thirteen years on, she continues to infuse the boutique with eclectic style, maintaining a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Beyond her thriving business, Kalleigh finds joy in her family life. Married to Matthew Thomas, she is a loving mother to a 9-year-old bonus daughter, Magnolia, and a 10-month-old son, Shepherd. Their family is complete with a cherished fur baby named Mulligan. The Thomas family is an active part of the Hartselle Church of Christ community.

When not immersed in the world of fashion and entrepreneurship, Kalleigh indulges in hobbies such as exploring estate sales, honing her culinary skills in the kitchen, and enjoying the occasional shopping spree.
