“Behind Closed Doors”

By B.A. Paris

Jack Angel is the perfect man.  He got his wealth by being a well-known, undefeated attorney for victims of domestic violence.  He is the definition of charm and gentleness.  That, along with the sweet way he has with her disabled sister, is why Grace fell in love with him so quickly.  All their friends are envious of them. The perfect home, the perfect dinner parties, the extravagant vacations- what’s not to love?  And come to think of it, they always seem to be together.  You never see Grace without Jack.  They never want to be apart, isn’t that sweet?  Everyone wants a marriage like theirs.  But what happens behind closed doors may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

“The Brothers Hawthorne”

By Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Grayson and Jameson Hawthorne are back in this book in the world of The Inheritance Games. This book takes place during the time jump from the end of The Final Gambit and its epilogue. Grayson is tasked with helping his two-half sisters find out what happened to their father. However, he already knows what happened and he will stop at nothing to prevent them from finding out the truth. Jameson has been tasked by his father to make his biggest gamble yet. He has to play his way into the world’s most secretive gambling institution and win a spot in their biggest game. With the help of Avery, he is ready to take on the challenge and win. Both brothers are going to have to make sacrifices and take risks that could cost them everything. Will they succeed?

This book perfectly weaves the two different storylines together to create a mystery and puzzle the reader can’t wait to solve. You can find this book in the library and on the Libby app.
