Sadie Montgomery is your typical portrait artist. She’s on the brink of starving and living in a rundown apartment that isn’t technically an apartment. Her acceptance into the National American Portrait Gallery competition is her chance at making it big. However, her big break slowly slips away when she has to have brain surgery just six weeks before her entry is due. The surgery makes her develop temporary face blindness. When she looks at someone’s face, her brain can’t understand what it’s seeing. It’s like a puzzle that can’t be put together because of too many missing pieces. Despite the face blindness, Sadie keeps trying to live her life as normally as possible. Part of that normal is taking your sick dog to the vet and meeting the most handsome although faceless vet named Oliver Addison. Another part of normal life is conversing with the neighbor Sadie thinks is a total player named Joe. Also, another part of life is being asked on a date by both and going on those dates. Who says a woman who can’t see faces can’t have a life?
