Resurfacing of Alabama 36 to start next week
HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that resurfacing of about five miles of Alabama 36 in Morgan County will begin July 12, weather permitting.
The $1.5 million project with contractor Wiregrass Construction will mill and repave from U.S. 31 in Hartselle to New Cut Road near Danville.
Motorists are advised to expect delays due to single-lane closures and traffic controlled by flaggers or pilot car. Please plan additional travel time, reduce speed and drive with caution in the work zone.
The project is anticipated to be complete this fall.
