The class of 2023 graduates from Hartselle High School during its commencement ceremony held Monday night at J.P. Cain Stadium. Of the 252 graduating seniors, 56 received an honors diploma, while 48 of those honor graduates earned an honors graduate distinction through maintaining a 4.0 or higher GPA on the honors diploma pathway, according to the school. The Class of 2023 includes five National Merit Finalists and 26 seniors who earned a 30 or above on the ACT.  On Awards Day, Hartselle seniors were recognized for their 257 local, state, national and college scholarships that totaled more than $4 million. This class has 15 student-athletes earning athletic scholarships at colleges and universities.  There are 136 students who were awarded college credit prior to graduating high school.  Additionally, HHS had seven students sign to go to work/college through the FAME and EPIC programs, while three graduating seniors are currently enlisted in the military.
