Hartselle closes out regular season with win on Senior Night

The Hartselle Tigers celebrated the careers of four seniors in defeating Hayden 3-2 on Senior Night. The seniors are Samford signee Brantley Drake, Snead State signee Sarah Bowling, Marion Military Institute signee Aly Putnam and Grace McClendon.

Bowling got the start and pitched a complete game to pick up the win. She allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits. Putnam started at catcher but left after one pitch due to a previously sustained injury.

Brityan Godfrey finished with three hits, including a home run, a double and three RBI. Morgan Osborne and Brooklyn Stiles each had a hit and a run scored. Katie Norgard and VK Hoyle each had a hit. Hoyle also had a stolen base.
