First Baptist Church of Falkville to host fundraiser

The members of First Baptist Church of Falkville will host a “Souper Bowl” Youth Fundraiser Feb. 12 at noon. Everyone is welcome to the luncheon, and if you would like to sign up to bring your favorite soup or chili for the fundraiser, please sign up on the foyer bulletin board. The Childrens Ministry mission project at West Corinth Baptist Church for the month of February is collecting small stuffed animals for Operation Christmas Child boxes, that will be packed later this year. Please bring small stuffed animals that will fit in a shoe box on Wednesday nights during the month of February. All donations will be greatly appreciated.

The kids at West Corinth Baptist Church and their teacher, Nancy Eubank Nanney, will meet at the church Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. and travel to StoneRidge of Farmington, where they will host a Valentine party for the residents. The kids need to bring money for lunch on the way home. They will return to the church around 1 p.m. Any adults are welcome to go on the trip.

In His Hands Ministry fundraiser announced

A In His Hands Ministry fundraiser is currently being held. They are selling chocolate covered strawberries for $20/ dozen and $12/half dozen. They will be delivered Feb. 12. The proceeds will go to fund the In His Hands Horse Ministry, that works with young ladies in Morgan County. For more information, find the ministry on Facebook. Danville High School activities                                     Congratulations to Danville High School senior Alison Wiley. Alison signed with Faulkner University and she will be a member of their cheer team.                               The Danville High School 9th and 10th grade students recently had the opportunity to tour the Morgan County Schools Technology Park . They enjoyed learning about all of the wonderful CTE opportunities available to them.
