“The Battle Belongs to the Lord” is an old-time inspiring hymn. It’s all about how we can defeat our enemy because God is fighting for us. In any situation in life, we can win. It doesn’t matter if it’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual in nature. The knowledge that God has won the battle already and a heavenly eternal home is waiting for us no matter the outcomes of this life is a comforting thought.

The Bible says “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-7

These words remind us we have a peace through Christ that no one else on Earth has and that’s all because the battles of this life belong to the Lord and He has our forever home waiting for us. To have this peace you have to be on the battlefield through a relationship with Him. Do you belong to the Lord?
