Second grade students at Sparkman School in Hartselle pose for a photo with SRO Terry Johnson on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day this past week. It was also a hectic day for SRO Terry Johnson, he was rushing around handling drop-off, and buses and a few minor issues when he was called to meet Principal Layne Dillard in the lunchroom. He got there and asked “what else could happen today?” when she walked into the lunchroom with him where the entire school had assembled to cheer and celebrate the work he does.Describing the scene, Johnson said “Let me tell you, it was a real tear jerker. They cheered and had gifts and signs.”
