Brewer High School art student wins Congressional Award

Brewer High School art student Lily Craft’s piece, titled “Caged in Plain Sight,” has been selected as the 2022 Congressional Art Competition Honorable Mention Winner. Her artwork will be on view at the Huntsville Museum of Art as part of the 2022 Congressional Art Competition Honorable Mentions through April 24. Congressman Mo Brooks will draw the name of one of the seven Honorable Mention winners to determine which piece of artwork will travel to Washington, D.C., to hang in the Congressional office for the next year. The remaining pieces will hang in the Huntsville District Office.
