Ernest “Bubby” Heck
Falkville
Ernest “Bubby” Heck died Dec. 18 at Huntsville Hospital.   

He was born March 14, 1958, in Morgan County to Ernest Emory Heck and Jewel Christine Woods. He was self-employed as a small engine repairman prior to his passing.  

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include his sister, Ernestine Hill; niece, Christy Hill; nephew, Brian Hill (Brooke); great-nieces and nephews, Casey Chasteen, Corey Shadden, Trace, Gracie and Trent Hill; and beloved pets, Baby Girl and Buddy. 

 

Linda Lou Adams 

Hartselle 

Linda L. Adams died Dec. 18 at her residence.   

She was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Morgan County to Curtis Dwight Springfield and Jewel Ardith Ashwander Springfield.  

She was a member of the Hartselle First Methodist Church and was employed at Wallace State as a residence records technician. She loved to read and was an avid gamer.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Reneé King. 

No services are scheduled at this time.

Lakrisha June Young Bridges 

Hartselle 

Funeral service for Lakrisha June Young Bridges, 56, was held Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. 

Ms. Bridges died Dec. 20 at her residence. She was born Aug. 23, 1965, in Morgan County to Douglas M. Young and Mary F. Shadden.  

She was employed by Foodworld as a produce manager prior to her passing. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Russell and Evelyn Shadden and Golden and Lounell Young.  

Survivors include her sons, William Snook (Mary Ann), David Bridges Jr. (Rebecca) and Jonathan Bridges (Stephanie); daughter, April Lindquist (Tabitha); mother, Mary F. Shadden Blair (Frankie); brother, Douglas “Macky” Young; sister, Danita Anders; and grandchildren, Jacob Russell, Vincent and Camden Snook, Danika Bridges and Cecelia. 

Pallbearers were family and friends.
