The Priceville Lady Bulldogs started their 2021-22 season off with a 53-49 win over Skyline at the Guntersville Early Bird Classic Saturday.

After the first quarter, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-7 lead and extended the lead to 28-15 by halftime.

Skyline outscored Priceville 18-11 in the third to cut the lead to 39-33 and kept the pressure on in the fourth by outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 16-14, but Priceville got the four-point victory.

Gracin Prater finished with her first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Bulldogs. She also finished with a team-high four assists.

Lauren Hames added 10 points, while Olivia Gann and Ashlyn Johnson each had five points. Zoey Benson finished with four points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Skyline’s Gracie Rowell finished with a game-high 19 points.
