Hawks take flight with new head coach Andro Williams

Danville went out this summer and hired one of the better small-school coaches in south Alabama, Andro Williams, to be next head football coach.

He brings a new attitude to the Hawks, who look to take flight under his lead.

“These players are hungry to learn,” said Williams. “They are taking possession of the team and selling the product. This is their experience, and they need to put a stamp on what we are doing.”

Danville will open the season on the road at Brewer Aug. 20.

For more about the Danville Hawks football team, check out the full story, photos and roster in the 2021 Morgan County Football Magazine, due out Aug. 20.
