Morgan County Schools to dismiss early

Morgan County Schools will dismiss early today at 1 p.m. due to the threat of severe weather. All after-school activities are also canceled.
Hartselle City Schools will continue to monitor the weather situation for the remainder of the day but have not yet decided to close early. Extended day and after extracurricular activities have been canceled.
“As a precaution, please stay alert for weather and school updates as we continue to monitor conditions throughout the day,” the school system sent out via text message.
