Darrin Casey Westbrook Jr., 25, of Danville has been arrested for theft of property, third degree. Westbrook was identified as a suspect in the theft of $650 from a friend’s residence after the friend reviewed surveillance video of their home.

Investigators attempted to locate Westbrook for questioning about the theft.

After being unable to question him, investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest. Officers made contact with Westbrook July 16 while assisting another agency with an unrelated incident and arrested him for the warrant.

Bond was set at $1,000.
