Corinth West Methodist holds revival March 18-20

By Martha Jackson

The members of Corinth West Methodist Church will host their revival March 18-20 at 7 p.m. The evangelist for the revival will be the Rev. Coy Morgan from Lawrence County. There will be special music and congregational singing each night.
Bud Woods, Roxanne Asherbranner and Linda Walker will help with the music.

The Rev. Wayne Jetton is the pastor. He welcomes the community, local church groups and the area residents to join the members for the nightly services.
Thank you, Phyllis Johnson, for your service
Phyllis Johnson of the Massey community has had her own “outreach program,” as a teenager and an adult. She has a mission of sending cards, making phone calls and visiting the sick and shut-ins, as well as taking food to those who need help.

Phyllis has been a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and has served as pianist of several churches, including Piney Grove Christian and Victory Fellowship. She also was the pianist for Linda Guyton’s Singers, who went to Falkville Nursing Homes to sing for residents, visitors and staff.

She is a Falkville High School graduate of 1967 and keeps up with most of the classmates, their birthdays and health. She taught at Danville, Ryan and Hartselle Middle School.
Now Phyllis would appreciate prayers and your correspondence as she experiences cancer treatments. Please send your cards and letters to P.O. Box 574, Falkville, AL 35622.
